Christopher Ross BSc (Hons) TCM BUCM MAcS

Christopher Ross

I am a fully qualified practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, encompassing Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na therapeutic massage, and Reiki healing. I am a fully insured member of the Acupuncture Society.

I graduated in 2007 from Middlesex University's five-year BSc Traditional Chinese Medicine degree, which was run jointly with Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. The degree included clinical placements at NHS pain clinics and the Asante Academy of Chinese Medicine, as well as a 6 month clinical placement in Beijing.

In 2010, I gained my advanced diploma in Tui Na massage from the Asante Academy of Chinese Medicine.

Since graduating, I have continued to deepen my knowledge through various CPD courses. Most recently I completed a two year seminar series on acupuncture and Chinese massage techniques by Andrew Nugent-Head. Andrew is a classically trained Chinese Medicine practitioner, living and studying in China since 1989. I have a strong interest in the treatment and management of pain conditions, ranging from various musculo-skeletal to headaches and migraines.

I also practice Acupuncture and Tui Na massage at The Ashdown Clinic, Potters Bar. In January 2019, I qualified as a Level 2 Reiki practitioner under the tutelage of Reiki Master Mr Andros Michael, and I gained my Master Level 3 qualification in 2021 I now incorporate Reiki into my practice of Chinese Medicine. In addition to my private practice, I also see patients at the Ashdown Clinic in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.
